Advancing Underwater Innovation
divePRO participates in national and European research initiatives that advance frontier technologies and the digital transformation of the blue economy. Within this framework, we develop next-generation diving systems that merge safety, data intelligence, and human performance.
Our objective
To integrate advanced sensors, microelectronics, and AR optics into a single mask that acts as a real-time dive computer - an intelligent system that displays critical information directly in the diver’s field of view.
The company's R&D activities focus on four main pillars:
- Augmented-Reality Optics & Interface – developing transparent display systems and algorithms that present data (depth, oxygen saturation, heart rate, compass, and ascent rate) in an intuitive, distraction-free way.
- Biometric & Environmental Intelligence – embedding miniaturized physiological and environmental sensors to continuously monitor diver safety indicators and ambient conditions.
- AI-Driven Data Analysis & Cloud Connectivity – using machine learning to translate raw dive data into predictive insights, personalized safety recommendations, and post-dive analytics accessible through the divePRO cloud and mobile app.
- Sustainable Product Development – applying eco-responsible manufacturing processes, modular design for component reuse, and compliance with EU circular-economy objectives.
Why it matters
By bridging academic research with applied engineering, software intelligence and human-centric design, divePRO
advances Europe’s mission to build a smarter, greener, and more innovative maritime technology sector.
